Dhaka City Mayor Election Game 2020

It feels good to be back in writing about what’s going on around me. But I feel very bad, that I made some predictions which came true. But none took any preventive measures around it. But before I resume my regular publication of articles, I want to inform those hackers who tried bringing hour website down many times that it may look like you were successful temporarily, but not permanently. We are back.

Many things, many political scenarios, environmental situation have changed in last few months. We will convey our massages the way we did. We will start from our country and then will look towards outside. We will talk about some latest developments, but at the same time we will discuss some incidents which we missed to write on but will have significant consequences in the future.

Let’s talk about Dhaka City Mayor election today. Let me throw some questions to you. Who is this election for? Who is going to participate? Who is going to elect the Mayor? If you are a sensible person, your answer should be ‘public’. But it looks like, this election is for Hasina, Hasina and her goons are going to participate and shameless Hasina is going to elect the Mayor. Practically, these answers are correct, but shouldn’t be.

Hasina is planning everything, whether public vote or not; there will be a Mayor who will lick Hasina’s feet for the term and will be a puppet of this ruling government. Let’s focus on the election date. I can see lots of public protest for the election date, but I have no clue why election commission even selected a public festival date for this election at the first place? Were they sleeping or what when they selected this date? I think, there is a cunning plan behind selecting this date. Otherwise, after lots of public demand and protest, they should have changed the date; as this election date is not written in Bangladeshi constitution.

Already we can see lots of corruption, attacks on opposition candidates, partiality and favour for ruling party candidates. Nothing has changed over the decade; all these election engineering process and game is still full on. General public is also idiots, because they are letting this happen for ever. They have accepted this already and made it part of election culture.

We will be closely observing this dictator Hasina’s Mayor play drama; but let me guess – all Awami League mayor candidates are going to win.
